Any prices are quoted in USD$ and do not include any overseas duty or taxes.  Invoices are sent via email within 24-48hrs after an order is received from the customer.

 

Warranty Policy

Congratulations on purchasing your new Venom boat.

​

To ensure fast and easy operation on any future warranty repairs, print and fill out the warranty registration at the bottom of this page and send to Venom Boats Ltd, this warrants each new boat to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

 

Claims against defects in materials, parts or accessories are justified as follows.

​

Each boat comes with a 3 YEAR STRUCTURAL GRP WARRANTY.

​

The Hypalon (ORCA) pontoons have a 5 YEAR WARRANTY; conditions apply.

 

The Manufacturer (Stingray Marine) hereby warrants that the Venom Boat NZ Ltd  Boat sold herewith was thoroughly inspected at their factory and found to be of excellent quality.

 

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

• That the boat is assembled and treated in accordance with the instructions contained herein. Doc. No. SM-OM-085-001 issue: 02 | Date: 8 Mav 2020: 6 of 12

• The proper installation of the electrical system and the engines is the responsibility of the distributer and any damage that has occurred during the installation is the sole responsibility of the distributor and not Stingray Marine.

• That the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage due to abuse and/or failure to follow the instructions contained herein.

• The warranty does not cover consequential damaged.

• That the boat is not used for racing or commercial purposes.

• That the boat is not operated with engines that exceed the HP rating for the specific model.

• Defective pontoons will be repaired or replaced with the replacement being done at a reputable repairer as advised by Venom Boats NZ Ltd in accordance with the following formula.

  • Year 2 - 30% discount

  • Year 3 - 20% discount

  • Year 4 – 10% discount

  • Year 5 – 10% discount

Please Note:

​

1. The above warranty is not transferable from the original Purchaser.

 

2. Unless stated otherwise Venom Boat NZ Ltd’s warranty is only applicable to the hull, pontoons and the fitment of the fuel tanks excluding the connection of the fuel lines.

 

3. Repairs provided for in this warranty will be undertaken at the manufacturer's factory or at a workshop specifically appointed for by Venom boats NZ Ltd.

 

4. AII goods and services supplied by Venom Boats NZ Ltd are ex works, all transport packing and insurance is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and is for the purchasers account.

 

5. The Purchaser must deliver his boat to and fetch from the designated workshop at their own expense.

 

6. This warranty does not cover accidental tearing or other damage due to contact with sharp rocks or other sharp articles or instruments, neither does it cover accessories such as valves, pumps, ropes, eye-rings, floorboards, keel structures and plugs.

 

7. Hypalon ORCA (material only) carries a 5 year warranty for normal use.

 

8. Abuse and normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.

 

9. Pontoons that are operated whilst not properly inflated will not be covered by the warranty.

 

10. Damage resulting from over or under inflation of pontoons is not covered by the warranty.

 

1 1. The repair cost for exported boats will be based on South African labour rates.

 

12. Claims must be approved in writing by Stingray Marine.

Venom Boats Ltd or its authorised representative will repair, or at its option, replace any of the shortcomings described above under the respective warranty periods. In the event of a claim, you must report the defect in writing or by email to Venom Boats Ltd (sales@venomboats.com), include the model number, hull identification number, vendor name and a receipt with date of purchase, your contact details and information about what the error or defect is. Pictures of the affected area is also needed to assess the course of action. One of our representatives will contact you to make arrangements that cause as little inconvenience to you as possible.

Note: Please complete and return this form to your Venom Boats representative within 30 days of purchase for your warranty to be effective. Thus permitting the owners / buyers to have read and understood the conditions of limited warranty and you have full warranty.

On receiving your order or quote, we will e-mail you a detailed invoice for you to check and confirm the details. 

 

If made to order we then require a 50% deposit to start the production of your custom built hand made Venom Boat.  The remaining 50% is payable prior to shipping.
